Reggie the bus driver – best bus driver ever!
As you can see from the title I mentioned my bus diver (Reggie) who has now come up with nicknames for us. Grace who is head of the school fairtrade group that I’m in is called Paddy because she said to Reggie that she is half Scottish and half English and now he calls her an Irish name as a joke. My nickname is Bopple Popper or perhaps he said it was wopple bobble. No idea why but I think it’s quite funny. Only Reggie is allowed to call me that though, although I don’t mind people on the bus calling me that. Matt who is Grace's brother is rockweiler.
Today for a piece of coursework for ASDAN I had to write an article about ways to meet friends in Richmondshire. I found it quite fun as I like that sort of stuff. I got to go out and do a bit of photography as well. Anyway for now this is Bopple Popper signing off.

Best Assembly ever (So Far)
Today I had an assembly and it was done by an American called David Crow. He never completed his education and has ended up going from one job to the next very quickly since he left around 25 years ago. He was here to tell us how important having a full education and working hard is. He’s now going to college to get a teaching qualification but was showing us the stuff he would like to do in the future. He did impressions and did some very good ones of Usain Bolt and other sports but some good dancing ones. Especially a one of his Michael Jackson moon walk.
That was that but I also was selling fairtrade from Mrs Garnetts cupboard at lunch due to where I was on the new rota system. It’s a wheel that gets turned everyday to see what people are doing. It’s a good system because it means that we know who is doing
what on which days but also ended up forcing me not to go to the Environmentalists group. Oh well.
We have now got some German exchange students over and I haven’t really spoken to them but I have two in my tutor. Actually no one turned up to do our tutor today. The Buzz is nearly ready for it’s first ever meeting as the writers sign up comes to a deadline on Friday. I reckon we will get an issue out for mid October.
I’m in the process of organizing a guest post on my environment blog by Tiffany Jo Allen. An American singer. She has had over 100,000 subscribers on YouTube. If that’s the case it will draw some major traffic to my blog hopefully. It’s not just about traffic though. I want to have a variety of subjects and authors on my blog instead of just me all the time. It’s more interesting for my readers (of the few I have). Here is a video on her performing. I will leave this post there but I will try to keep you up to date.

Is my tutor group now 11 Craven/ Middleton/Sharp?
I’ve now had three tutors and although one left he came back to visit today and promised to come back on results day. He also promised to do a bit in our year book of which the planning starts next week. It was great to see Mr Middleton back and everyone was catching up on stuff with him. He apparently has a picture of us on his desk. He was telling a story of how he is a pilgrim moving from school to school but Richmond was the one he liked the most.
Anyway enough about Mr Middleton (Sorry Mr Middleton but I have to put other stuff in). I’ve been working on the school newspaper and I now have the template for the noise which I will adjust to our style. I’m going to have to create a timetable for when I do newspaper stuff because three teachers have said that I shouldn’t let it take over from school work. I don’t think it should but the only reason they said that was because I was checking something for it before we started work in a lesson the other day. I won’t do it again.
We spent period 2 & 3 down at lower school clearing up rubbish as part of an ASDAN challenge. I was told that it would be a surprise on what we were doing today but I did think it might be better. I was still happy with what we had done though. Finally I will put on this weeks photo in my year eleven record in photos. it’s one I took today of Naomi who is in my tutor group having a hug with Mr Middleton. They don’t know I took it. Here it is anyway.
Hope you like it. I’m off now. Bye! PS; I really should think of something better and more interesting than bye to put at the end of my posts.

First day of year 11. didn’t do much
It was the first day of year 11 today and I didn’t do much mainly because two and a bit lessons of the day where filled by admin and assemblies. We have a new co-tutor called Mr Sharp. For once when I’m trying to remember his name I actually did. He is now doing registration on Mondays and Fridays because Mrs Craven is now working part time. I have talked to the head and he says to show him the ideas for the school newspaper on Monday so I will go to see him then.
I’ve started a project for myself to do a picture everyday of the year at school and upload it to my blog. It’s kind of like a record of the year. Here is my first one.
It’s not very interesting I will admit but there wasn’t much to get a picture of apart from different parts of the school today. I promise to get a better one next time. After losing the disc with my documentary on I managed to find two copies of it in my bedroom. At least I found one. Apparently in April next year we might do another ASDAN trip but this time in a residential place and it will be three nights. Sounds good. Bye 4 now!
